Frequently Asked Questions

  • What happens after I apply to work with you?

Once you submit your application, I’ll review it to determine if my services align with your needs. If it’s a good fit, I’ll reach out via email with a link to book a free 30-minute discovery call. During the call, we’ll talk more about your concerns, goals, and which services might be the best fit. If I don’t think my offerings are the right match, I’ll let you know via email and, if possible, provide a referral to help you find the support you need.

  • Do you take insurance?

No, I do not accept insurance.
However, if your doctor prescribes a session with a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP), you may be able to use your Health Savings Account (HSA) for reimbursement.

  • Can I work with you if I’m not local?

Yes! All sessions are conducted virtually, so I work with clients from all over the world.

  • What do your services cost?

Because every client’s needs are different, I offer highly customized programs based on your symptoms, goals, and lab results. Some may require minimal testing, while others need more extensive support. For that reason, I don’t list standard pricing on my website. We’ll discuss what’s best for you during your discovery call.

  • Do you provide dietary recommendations only?

No. While nutrition is a major focus, our work will go far beyond diet. If you're eating well but your stress, sleep, or digestion is off, we’re still missing pieces of the puzzle. I take a whole-body approach, addressing nutrition, lifestyle, stress, sleep, movement, and more to support sustainable healing.

  • Do I have to give up all my favorite foods?

No—but you may need to temporarily set aside a few of your favorite foods based on your symptoms and test results. We’ll focus on a nutrient-dense, whole food diet and likely remove common inflammatory triggers while we pinpoint what your body’s reacting to. The good news? Food sensitivities usually aren’t forever. With proper gut healing, many people are able to enjoy those foods again. And don’t worry—we’ll make sure your meals are still delicious, so it won’t feel like you’re missing out (well… maybe just a little at first).

  • How long does this process take?

Healing isn’t linear, and every body is different. I typically offer 3- to 6-month programs, which is usually enough time for significant progress. However, healing often happens in layers, and some clients continue beyond that to address deeper concerns. You didn’t become unwell overnight, and true healing takes time. This is a journey, and I’ll be there to support you every step of the way.

  • Will I have to take supplements?

In most cases, yes—therapeutic supplementation is part of the protocol. What you take and for how long will be based on your lab results, symptoms, and goals. I only use professional-grade supplements that meet strict quality standards. I’m not affiliated with any supplement companies, so my recommendations are purely based on what’s best for you.

  • Can you help me lose weight?

Weight loss is not my primary focus, but when we address root causes and nourish your body with real food, weight often normalizes naturally—whether that means losing or gaining. We won’t be counting calories or following restrictive plans. Instead, we’ll tune into what your body truly needs.

  • How is this different than working with my doctor?

This is a completely different approach. I am not a medical doctor, and I don’t diagnose or prescribe medication. Functional nutrition is a holistic, root-cause-focused approach centered on prevention, nourishment, and lifestyle. My work often complements what you’re doing with your healthcare provider and can enhance your results by addressing the foundational elements of health.
